I made out w/a girl i like while watching a movie,but she is trying to get back w/her EX?

She said that she is intrigued by me & that the best thing would be for me to be her friend right now. i see her almost everyday and she calls me or i'll call her sometimes. we hang out and talk a lot. her ex broke up with her recently after a five year relationship and he is also trying to go out with her, but when he found out about the kissing between me and her he went insane. she says that she still loves him, but doesn't know how much longer she'll put up with his attitude & makes excuses for him. i don't know what she sees in him. he's definitely way uglier than me and more immature. now, that she isn't with him she has no friends at college except me and her ex is back home so i feel like i'm the only one she can count on. if i left her now she would think that i was only after one thing. she said that she would understand if i didn't want to be her friend when i explained how much the situation sucks. sometimes i feel that if i took more action i might win her over

The friend situation stinks. I am not trying to be rude but was she with you as a rebound? After a five year relationship she was probably feeling alone and you being there for her put you in the number one slot for rebound material. You are definitely a nice guy for sticking by her when she needed someone to talk to about her ex. If I were you ask her straight up if she sees the both of you having a future. If you are in college you are still young and you do not want to waste your time waiting for that one girl. It takes a long time for a girl to get over a relationship. I was with my ex for about four years and it took me two years to completely get over it and move on with my life. You may have kissed the girl but she said she still loves him and that is just too big of a mess to get involved in. Do you really want to be with a girl who loves somebody else? Being with somebody who freshly got out of a relationship means she will always compare you with him. She will talk about him all of the time. You my friend need to really think about the situation. You could be the one who ends up getting hurt.

well if you really love her you need to tell her how you feel and make the situation works. and get her friends. if shes a loser then im sure theres other losers around campus that she could hang out with YAH!
