Well,it IS close to Halloween-maybe he's turning into a werewolf LOL.I'm just kidding.I have a 17 year old cat with the same thing, and he pulls his own hair out.The vet took blood and skin scrapings and could find nothing wrong except for a bladder infection, for which she prescribed antibiotics. This seemed to help a bit with the hair-pulling(he may have been pulling it out because he was in discomfort from the UTI).That was a year ago,and he still has peculiar hair.My vet thinks it's just that the texture is changing with age-it happens to people as well. But if you haven't had him to a vet,you really need to take him.

I don't really like either but judging from other people my age, of the two I think short and spikey is your best bet. However like I said I don't really like either and each hairstyle might not work for your particular face shape. I suggest you go with your natural hair maybe just short but not spikey, and stay away from skater hair because unless you're some sort of Justin Bieber look alike girls probably won't like it.

Perhaps after 14 years it decided it was time for a change :-)

Get the vet to check out liver and kidneys just to be safe

Animals just like people, they need more vitamins and check ups.Try talking to your vet about its diet. After a certain age all animals need a vitamin boost or a change in diet.

Sounds like liver or kidney problems.
Time to go to the vet.

It might just simply be old age. I would take her to the vet to make sure though.
