Normal yes we are woman and we tend to do shi# like that.
Now the problem is if u do it to often he will get used to it, and he will take advantage of u.
and why he doesn't have a job?
is he in school?
or is he just plain lazy?

Better be careful; you're setting a precedent which might follow you throughout your entire relationship! You could spoil him best by helping him -- in a KIND and THOUGHTFUL way -- to find a job. Never nag; that will come back to haunt you! The time may come when the roles are reversed and he will be employed while you are not. I'm sure he is depressed about not being able to spend money on you, so try to limit the spoiling to things that don't cost anything -- run him a bath, talk WITH him, not AT him, listen to him, encourage him to talk. That's not right. Others will see it as him takign advantage of you. it should be the other way around. But with my boyfriend its 50/50.
A girl shouldn't spoil her boyfriend if she isn't getting anything in return. That's not including a piece of a$$) But that's just wrong. He need to get a damn job. So in other words he's not responsible, still lives with his parents, has no money saved up, and is living off of your income.Personally all those things are turn off to me. I dont know how you can put up with that..honestly, Tell me how does that look. Do you think that is right or ok that this is going you spending your $$ on him. I don't. Your being to nice. Tell him to get a job!!!

He's going to take advantage of you for as long as you let him. If you enjoy that sort of thing then go for it. Trust me I see it happen all the time. My brother is the definition of a gold digger. He never has a job or home and finds women that arent so attractive and cant do any better then him. He takes them for everything that they have until he finds someone with even more money and willing to give him even more then the last girl. Watch your guy will do it too.

i think as long as you are both happy, it doesn't matter who has the $$$.
however, since you posted this, it must be on your mind, and so i have this to say. i think when you're in a relationship, it should be a partnership. your in it together, you should be equals. and every girl deserves to be spoiled, if he loves you he should be doing that.
i've been in several relationships like yours, and i allways managed to justify it. "he just cant find work" "he's working on himself right now" "he treats me well in other ways"
but the truth is, he's not in this with you if he cant do anything for you.
he may not realize this though, try talking to him about it, but if things don't change, you need to get rid of him. could you really date someone seriously who cant take care of himself, let alone you?
