If you are using an elastic or scrunchy to hold it up, then yes. It pinches the hair and tends to cause it to break. Can you handle a small cap or toque to hold hair up, if not best to leave locks flowing.

If you have curly hair it will look pretty in the morning. If you have strait hair it will curl in not a so good way. It isnt bad for your hair it. It dosnt matter if you wear it up or down.

If you are talking about a pony tail, the band might cause breakage of your hair. Not to mention that it could make your head sore.

you shouldn't cuz u can leave a bump in your hair and wear ponytails too much can make your hairline recede

no but if it's wet it will have a line in it and if you use a scrunchie then it wont or you can just wash it the next morning and the line will be gone
