OK, I know it doesnt actually exist, but where would it have been located if it had ?. Obviously if it was in telescop-ic range then we could have noticed it by now.... so it would therefore be in a galaxy far far away. In which case how many millions of light years would it take for a soul to reach it from this planet?. Or do souls travel faster than the speed of light ?.
And if its milions of light years away from here then the odds are it could be just a few miles from another planet having animals so they would arrive earlier?.

Didnt really want a diatribe from the bible storybook as an answer, as its just a story that cannot be quoted from as a reference (it contains no facts)

Although there could be a serious discussion over
a) which religions really do posit the idea of Heaven
and b) whether Heaven has a physical existence,

if you accept both these notions then Heaven is probably (or more precisely will be) on Earth. Maybe existing outside of time. Belinda Carlisle was right!

I don't think we have enough...for lack of a better word, information about that subject. Maybe because it's not essential to our well-being, or... who knows. Our minds just can't grasp the concept? Maybe it's not even ON a different planet, even a different place. Heaven, Mortality...it makes sense sometimes that they are all on Earth, just different dimensions. Of course, this is a very confusing topic which probably doesn't have a ligitimate answer. Someday!

Heaven is NOT confined to a planet. No, the planets, stars and galaxy are in the heavens. The heavens are infinate. Actually, there is more than one Heaven. If you want to get a glimps of God's Throne in Heaven, then read Ezekiel Chapters 1 and 2 in the Bible. PRETTY AWESOME!

According to the Vedic text Srimad Bhagavatam, heaven is not the ultimate goal.Heaven is only where the demigods live, which is located in the upper section of thousands of universes. The real spiritual world is outside the material scheme of lower (hell),middle(you are here) and higher (heaven). To attain liberation from these material realms,on the vast turning wheel of karmic fortune is the goal of existance. This is where krsna lives with his eternally liberated associattes, such as the gopis ,where time does not exist, and everything is eternally blissfull

I visited it once when I was astroplaning in the 7th dimension of the 4th quardlock. It's a bit of a ways from here and you need to definitely get plenty of rest before astroplaning because there are a lot of tricky turns.

The nearest star to 'heaven' is Kolob!

and the reason you would ask a Mormon, is because they know the answer!
