But what about them getting the Green Card through this lottery system without background checks etc? Are you still for that?
I have a probably with this system because its allowing people from well known terrorist countries to come in through this system.
I will be honest I don't think we should have a Green Card Lottery system due to this.

Yes, I knew about it, and yes, I think it's a great idea.
I am not at all against immigration ... how do you all think we got here? Even the "native americans" came here, just centuries before the europeans (and yes, I am half native american).
My concern is ILLEGAL immigrants, which people on this forum generally don't seem to differentiate. And while most the illegal immigrants are hispanic ... there are many of other nationalities as well.
The lottery gives people a chance to be a legal immigrant, that they might not otherwise have.
