Well, I am *definitely* *not* looking for a hook-up -- I am happily married, but I am sure there are at least some people on here that are looking for that.
I asked a similar question the other day & got some great answers. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Arw9QH9VhkBSIZ1NTC1neZjsy6IX?qid=20061021151121AAPzgMG
My question was, "My husband wants to know *why* people invest so much time in Y/A? He knows that I am one of them ;)."
My favorite answer was this one by "dianes98":
"I just got hooked by answering a few simple questions.
I like being able to talk to someone about something I'm interested in or know something about.
I find most questions involve opinions really - we want to know what we all think. Where else would I get to tell someone across the country what I thought of the latest movie or my take on a social event.
Not only do I express my opinions, but some questions are really thoughtful and it's cool to engage with that person for just a few seconds. Some questions stay with me and I discuss them with my face to face friends and family. Some have served me well in starting conversations or exploring my associates thoughts. Isn't that how we get to know each other better?
I don't waste time answering silly questions or giving blow off answers for the points. You can tell their are people hitting the site at that level, but they don't interest; though I'm sure they attract someone who does.
I sit at my computer, alone and answer questions - I dont' do it with anyone around so I can be completely honest. I don't have to edit my content - there's a little freedom in that which I actually find very relaxing.
Who knew right? I thought it was all a little relevant at first - or how could you trust the advice - but it's not all about gaining advice - it'a a lot to do with connecting."

What is she really saying to you? are you spending a lot time on here and less time with her? I'd read into that comment a little more.
