OO! What a good guy to be thinking of this now! All girls are different. But most definitly want to get something. You kind of have to start seeking her out now to see what she likes best. Some like flowers, some like candy, some like jewelry, some like to just snuggle with a java and a fireplace. Get to know her now so you can see what she would "really" like.

That totally depends on the relationship. Candies are always nice, a single flower, ie pink rose...red is a no no if youre not in a deep relationship, just anything. Girls like attention, thats why they invented Valentines Day. By the way, if you are in a relationship, a dinner at a nice restraunt or home cooked (if you can cook) and a red rose cannot go wrong!!

Personally, I do enjoy getting things. Nothing big. Something small like candy or a flower or just a card is a considerate way to show her that you remembered her during the occasion. You don't have to go all out and use all your money to buy something expenisve though.

Yes! Even just a single flower can make a girl really happy. It's just the acknowledgement, never has to be fancy.

I went nuts last year when my husband showed up with a pint of my favorite ice cream... I didn't even know he knew what I liked.

Yes? Even if it's just a single flower. Which I would prefer... because taking an entire vase of flowers home from the office can be a little hectic.

I prefer not to put so much focus on one day. My husband and I show each other how we love each other every day, so we don't do anything very special on Valentine's. It's a bit too commercialized for us.
