nah, she'll get it eventually! don't rush it. all babies develop differently. Try getting her a bouncer, or maybe put heron her hands and knees jsut to have her feel the position? THey get it on t heir own though...

You can try placing colourful objects in front of her and she will try to go fot it. Or even her favourite toy. No matter what you try you just have to realize that she will start to crawl at her own pace and i do not really agree with forcing her. Just let it happen naturally and await the joy and surprise when it does.

If at 1 year she has not shown any improvement then carry her to a doctor to run some tests.

In the mean time remember that all children develop at diffetrent times. For instance, I never crawled as a baby- i started walking at 9 month however, my son is 10 months and he is crawling.

Place toys away from her so she can try to grab them. Don't wory if she's scooting she's well on her way to crawling give her some time, my daughter is 10 months and she had a hard time as well. Now she crawls and stands in her crib.

My son is 10 months and he started scooting first and he crawls now but not exactly on both his knees he uses his foot to help him get along, as long as he is active and moving around on his own I don't worry he's pulling up on the couch and just very active every baby is different she will be alright

Just put your baby in the floor as much as possible and put things in front of her to encourage her to go forward. But the main thing is, just don't worry about it. My son didn't crawl until he was ten months old and I worried constantly. My daughter came along and she was walking by ten months. Every baby is different. In a year from now, she'll be running everywhere so enjoy it while it lasts!

Don't worry about her. Some babies never crawl, they just scoot on their tummies or their bottoms. She might get up and walk tomorrow. My mom says that I never crawled and starting walking at 7 mos. Every child is different, but she sounds perfectly normal. Ask your pediatrician's advice nurse if you're concerned.

No, she will crawl when she is ready. My daughter was almost 10 months old when she finally started crawling. She started walking about 2 weeks after her first birthday. They do everything when they are ready.

Scooting is a start! My son rolled all over the place before he crawled- I thought he was gonna walk before he crawled! Don't worry, she will do it when she's ready! It took my son a while too!

Babies learn to do things at different paces. Leave her alone, she'll be crawling and walking before you know it, then you'll wish she never learned to walk. She will be into everything, and the more she walks and the taller she gets the more higher you'll have to put things out of her reach. Please remember to keep the lid down on the toilet at all times, cover light sockets and sweep and vacuum every morining before you put her on the floor. You probably know already that babies will put anything and everything in their mouths. Love her and take care of her, and learn to anticipate things she may get in to before she does it. When she gets old enough to talk, remember to always to listen to what she is saying, you will learn a lot about her and her environment.

My cousin mostly scooted and pretty much went from there to walking. She did crawl a little though.

Put the toys out of her reach so she has to move to get to them. When she does try to move, help her get on her hands and knees, so she can start getting the idea of 'this is how i need to be to move.' Other than that, there really isn't a whole lot you can do. Some babies take longer than others. Don't worry, she'll come around when she is ready. In the mean time, be thank full that she hasn't started moving around yet, once they get moving, nothing is safe! lol
