you do NOT need any product!
get a 2 quart microwave dish full of water and boil in the microwave for like 10 minutes.
as soon as it's done, wipe the inside of the microwave down with a damp sponge.
works like a charm!

I swear by Clorox Cleanup.

I also saw this segment on TV the other day about cleaning tips. It turns out that if you let a microwave safe container full of water sit on the high setting for 4-5 minutes in there it basically steams the goo on the inside of the microwave and it comes off very easily. I tried it and it does work.

Heat water on High in the micro for 1 mt. Use that same water to wipe the insides with a clean sponge.

NEVER had to use any special products . This cleans the microwave just fine.

It appears that the answers all suggest heating water to boiling, letting it sit in microwave so that condensation builds up and then just wipe it clean with a sponge, towel, dish cloth or paper towel. However, did you know that you could add spices to the water and as it heats, not only does it help clean the microwave, but leaves a pleasant scent in the kitchen also! My family favors the fall seasonings right now, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg. I used allspice and cloves this weekend and was asked when the pie was going to be done!
