Ok, so theres this guy I like a lot. Ive even caught myself once or twice saying I love him. Hes smart, cute, athletic, sweet. But on the flip side, I recently found out that he's like...still practically in love with this girl he dated in the 8th grade! ..hes now a senior...in high school! Its crazy! Ive liked him for 1 year now and he still doesnt know how I feel. Hes shy and good at keeping his feelings away, because when we talk, all the right signs are there. Even when we're not talking I see him occasionally looking at me. I dont know what to do. I have so much to give to him, you know? Hes been through so much and I just care so much about him. But how am I supposed to take this? ITS KILLING ME! Like...everyday that goes by, him not knowing how I feel, hurts me. Sure just tell him right? Its not that easy! His Mom is my english teacher...when she teaches I get a reminder of him! Its crazy! PLEASE HELP! What should I do? Anything to look for? How should I tell him?

just tell him. Be straighforward about it. Tell him you like him a lot, and you're interested in more than friendship, but that the top priority is that friendship so if he doesn't feel anything, there's no pressure. Then tell him that you wanted to say it out loud so that you don't live with the regret of never coming out with it, with that "might have been" feeling.

No it's never that easy just to tell someone that you care for them. I would suggest sitting down and talking to him about your friendship maybe see if you can get him to express anything. If you can't then I would start off like this. It's ok that you don't want to express your feelings to me but I would like to share mine with you. Then give it a go and tell him how you feel if you can get it to come out. It should make it easier on you to tell him like that. Oh ya and on the his mom is yoru english teacher thing. It would probably give you better grades if you dated her son and she liked ya, just don't hurt him or she will be out to get ya through your grades lol. Have Fun and Good Luck

I know it's not easy because I am shy myself and I have been in the same situation several times. But if you don't let this guy know how you feel, you may never get your chance to be with him.

Sounds like Fantasy has hit hot and hard.. Take your time to see if the looks are not " just why is she looking at me looks" , or if he is checking you out.. If he likes you, you'll find out.. If not there seems to be a little baggage with this one.. Good Luck

One-sided "loves" are very common at your age.
If he's not responding to the subtle hints, you have two choices:
1) become more overt in your hints and clues or
2) move on

Hmm, personally, I'd ask him what he was doing one weekend and then set something up so I could talk to him. Or, talk to him at lunch, AWAY from everyone else. But either way, you need to tell him, seriously.

ok...girl..you need to just plain out ask him out...tell him how you feel just say that you like him and want to go out with him...if hes not ready yet he'll tell you...if he is then he can go out with you...just let him know how you feel..pull him aside and pop the question and ask him out...all there is to it and yea...
