As a Muslim, I could say yes. But how would Christians react if there were equally degrading pictures of Jesus or Mary? The more religious a person is, the more they will be offended. I am very moderate, I wear hijab, I love my religion, but am also realistic. The world is not 100% Muslim, and it never will be. If some one talks crap about us, feel sorry for their ignorance, and keep walking. Those idiots that burned flags and riottted only made themselves and Muslims look worse

Religion in itself is a sensitive subject. Religious fanatics from any faith are very dangerous people.

Islam to muslims is not just a religion in the side that you study it in religious class. Islam to muslims is a way of life.

If im a Christians who love Jesus passionately how could i stand still see others mocking the centre of my faith? Would you allowed someone to assult your own mother? I don see Muslims mocking Christianity. I see more of that from christians themself.

And I'm not talking about people like those in Hezbollah, who seem to be fighting for reasons other than religion. I'm talking about people who get upset about cartoons...

Compared to whom? Compared to Christian Extremists who blow up abortion clinics? Compared to Christian Extremists in Kansas who run for school board and then forbid the teaching of science?
Compared to them? No.

Because deep down they know it's absurd religion, more so than most. Their own religion is always in question in their own minds so of course they would get upset about it, because they are alway insecure about it.

was Moses to sensitive when he saw them worshipping the calf?
NO.....muslims just take their religion seriously as did the Prophets mentioned.
