Is this a complete question?
Usually the player with the best score on the previous hole has "honors" on the next tee box. He gets to tee off first.
If two players score the same on a hole, the score from the previous hole is used.

when teeing off the first tee, it's random who goes first.(ie. first name on scorecard, throw a tee on the ground, alphabetically etc.) After playing the first hole, the person with the lowest score on the hole will receive ( HONORS) to commence the next hole. If there is a tie, then the order in which the players teed off previously will remain the same until HONORS has been earned. Winning the rights to the tee first,( The HONORS) will change various times throughout the round. hope that helped you!

And this was a test question to see if we knew what we were talking about? How about honors.
Actually, take a look at usga.org. If the folks are playing match play, order of play matters. No difference in stroke play. If you play out of turn in match play, your opponent can make you replay the stroke. Good strategy tool.
