Two very nice JW's just left my doorstep...and when they turned to leave, one of them said to me in a snide voice "Nice pants"...but I wasn't wearing any pants...are they allowed to do that?

C'mon man - you think they could do what they do without a certain sarcastic sense of humour?
I have a favourite answer when JW's turn up - "Sorry, I don't have time right now, I'm busy fornicating." Usually, this works like a charm, but one time as I was closing the door I heard one say to the other "well that shouldn't take long..."
I'm pleading the fifth on their accuracy, but you gotta give 'em points for humour.

Jehovah's Witnesses are expected to maintain a dignity befitting ministers of the true God, especially while actively engaging in the ministry.
That being said, Witnesses do enjoy entertaining themselves between doors. Ideally, they should wait until the previous door has closed.

I love when these people show up at my door. I usually answer it the way you did but I’m also holding an axe and I say in my deepest Devil voice “I’ve been waiting for you, what took you so long?”
