Anal sex is the biggest risk for STDs (sexually transmitted diseases). The anus is not designed for a hard elongated penis to enter, and the action leaves blood vessels open, which is why majority of cases of HIV-AIDS are male homosexuals. This is not to say that you shouldn't explore this form of sex, you just need to be extra careful.

Regular condoms just don't work as well with anal sex. The typical male condom is about seven hundredths of a millimenter thick, which is much too thin to resist the friction of anal rubbing. There are thicker condoms out there for couples to use for anal sex, but for some, the feeling is just not the same. There's two ways to be sure and those are: don't do it or really know your partner. Even if you do know you partner, there are a few hygiene concerns that most couples have when they're "going anal" for the first time. They all worry about sh*t.

Just like women douch to clean themselves from within, there are similar products for the anus. Enema is a product that involves a clyster or injection, a liquid injected or to be injected into the rectum. Plain water--when only one or two injections are required--is usually perfectly acceptable. However, never forget that the standard of purity of the water is much higher than that required for drinking. If there is concern about electrolyte imbalance adding one level teaspoon of table salt or baking soda per quart of water is a good idea. Also, the more exotic enema liquids are not without high risk. The injection of any substance via rectum bypasses the body's defense systems and has risk. The use of any other substance rather than plain water, or isotonic water is questionable.

if you are not relaxed (whoever is receiving) it can cause damage. The hole is not meant for entry. You need a lot of lubricant. The lining inside is very thin, so you run somewhat of a risk of tearing it, which could cause infections.
Before entry, one partner could try inserting fingers, starting with 1, then 2, then 3 and then try entry. This could stretch the anus a little and make entry a bit easier.
If it is very painful, stop. You would be tense and this raises the chances of causing damage. Be careful with it.

In addition to someone else's advice about using a condom, check the box first. I think that you are not to use spermicides for anal sex.

It's not bad for you medically so long as you are clean about it and avoid pain. I almost forgot to add that protection is very very important!!! STD's are more easily transmitted during anal and a condom should ALWAYS be used.

Some people get depression medication for that sort of thing,, it's like OCD, obsessive compulsive disorder, where you straighten everything out in your closet and sort your long sleeves together. Also they "anal" people are usually type "A" people, very driven and focused. I don't think that's really bad for you, so long as it doesn't control your life to where you can't function.

You did mean that, right!, lol.

I don't know...I've never let anyone enter me from that end!

On the other hand, several women I've known have allowed me the opportunity.
Some liked it, some didn't.
Either way, if you go that route, be sure to wear protection and use LOTS of lubrication...LOTS.

Anal sex can tear the fagile tissues in the rectom causing lesions that stay open for infection. For example...if you have tears in the rectom(you wont always know) and you go number two,the infectios fecal material can cause infection in those open cuts. Its really best not to have anal sex or to use a lot of lube. But that doesnt always work either.

if you don't use a condom you can get feces in the head of your member and that can cause BIG problems. Plus it is called sodomy and the Bible says not to do it.-----IF you don't care about that and your partner likes it and you take your time it can be good. Use plenty of lubercant

There is nothing bad about it as long as it is done in moderation and you do go all crazy sticking things that don't belong, like things from the kitchen and such...

too much anal, or if you're taking objects that are very large, will weaken your sphincter and you will eventually not be able to hold in your poop or farts, you will **** yourself.

I wouldn't do it....

I wouldn't say bad for you. A little bit slutty...(for girls and guys to do) if it is just a casual relationship...

If you are really interested in doing it with someone you trust...then I guess it could be okay...but normal...no. Not ever.

For gay guys I guess.
