In the Bible Prophet Abraham (pbuh) builds a structure with his son. Muslims believe this is the Kabaa (which is my avatar). Abraham (pbuh) then prayed to God that this would be a place that people would come from all over to worship God. This is were millions of muslims make pilgrimage to in order to worship God. Also the spring that fed Hagars child is still near the Kabaa, called the spring of Zam Zam. Also the footsteps of Abraham are beside the Kabaa (God said he would leave it there as a sign for the believers)

I understand Christians dont believe Abraham built this, I was just wondering where they believe the structure he built is, and do people go there to worship God?

Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him
John 4:20-23

God does not require us to make pilgrimages to worship Him. Where ever we are, we can worship Him in spirit and in truth. It doesn't matter to Christians if Abraham built the Kabaa or not

Maybe it's just my foggy brain, but I don't recall any scripture where Abraham prays that the structure will be visited by people all over. I remember the scriptures where he builds an altar with his son, and then he almost sacrifices Isaac to the Lord, but the angel stops him, and they sacrifice a little ram instead.

Are we talking about the same story here? Or is there a different part of Genesis you would like to direct me to?

The bible says that Abraham dwelt in tents awaiting the real city having real foundations Hebrews 11:8 the builder and maker of this city is God. Verse 13 says they did not get the fulfillment of the promise. They saw them far off and welcomed them. Meaning in the future. when the earth is a paradise he will come back in a resurrection.

I don;t think the Christians people care about this facts. They are using adulterated Bible which are nothing near the original teaching of Jesus, Abraham, Moses, Jonah, Joseph or Jacob. Even the center of Catholicism is in Vatican which is again a sig n of adulterated Christian teachings. Jesus never said Vatican should be the holy Catholic city. Catholicism is a fraud religion founded by the Romans, the very people who crucfied Jesus.

I have doubts about all the qurans words I do not think in his day it would have been possible for Abraham to have made that.
Christians can worship God any where and every where they do not need any special building or statue

Since Christ died for us - we don't need to go to any one place to worship God. I don't really know where Abraham built the alter - I do know that I don't need to go to Temple, don't need to go to my church, don't need to go to a Holy Place to find and worship God. God accepts me wherever and whenever I choose to go to worship Him. If you read in the Bible when Jesus died - the veil in the Most Holy Place in the Jewish Temple split in two. I think, IMHO, God was saying that He'd accept us right where we are. Right now - I am at my desk. I can worship God right here.

PS - I'm not special. We all can do these things... :o)

I do not have an answer to this, but, to me somethings just need to be taken on faith. When you say do not believe, it may be that is just is not proven, for sure.

This issue is unknown and unknowable for certain. So I respect that you believe it came from Abraham and I accept that this might be true.

Hmm, interesting question. I am not sure why there would be so much importance attached to a single altar. Have you heard about the altar found in the Beith Lehi cave?
