I like this guy but when we were younger(10 yrs) he told me he liked me I laughed(very immature, i feel bad), and he asked if i like him, I said no (I was shy but I was madly in love with him). three yrs ago my friend told him I like him, and asked if he liked me. He smiled and said he could only tell me. then for a month he ignored/avoided me. Finally telling my friend we were friends. But whenever we see eachother he always jokes and flirts with me. We always have been like this(flirting). Now he's going away to college next year(we're one yr apart), how do i tell him I have always liked him. I was thinking as he was walking to his house(we live close) I could catch up and ask if he saw us as friends or if he liked me still....

Your time is running out. Talk to him forthrightly and tell him what you've told us. At worst you'll have a friend for life. At best you may have a relationship for life. Either way sounds good.

Just walk up to him and tell him how you feel. Tell him you understand that hes going away to college but you still like him a lot and possibly want to start something serious. Maybe move with him or something and see how things go. Long distance relationships work, but takes a lot of work. Just tell him.

He already knows you like him but maybe he's just not interested in taking it any further with you. He already told your friend he considers you a friend. He's flirting with you because he assumes you understand that it's meaningless. Don't walk to his house to ask if he likes you. He already said he saw you as a friend and hasn't asked you out or anything, so you already know.

I think instead of asking him about his feelings you should just tell him yours and see what his reaction is.
Say, "I just need you to know that I've liked you since forever and think I'd like for you to be my boyfriend."
If you get a negative reaction, then it's still no big deal cuz he's going away to college.
You'd be surprised how much guys like straightforwardness from a girl.

Ask if he wants to have lunch before he leaves for college. YOu could bring it up casually there somehow. Grow a pair and just do it! Good luck...

Go for it. Tell him how you feel, but I hate to break this to you, but if he's going away to college, any relationship you get going will probably be tough to continue.

go for it, you only live once, never know he could be the one, or not, just because you like him does not mean that you have to love him or do you??? Let him know before he leaves and see where it will go, i say try everything at least once.
