Like if the bible preaches to love our neighbor, does our religion teach that? Does it tell you that your going to be kept alive just so he can torture you? What would you think of a man that did that to a dog? Say he bit someone. Should he be tortured until he dies?
No he would be called a crazy person! You would call the human society. yet some religions teach that is what a loving father does? Yet, I do believe that some people don't deserve to live?
They are a threat to society. What about Churches that value traditional lies rather than the bible? Like Santa Clause or Easter bunny or even Halloween day of satan? What do you think?

It is a question of making a search for the truth and rejecting teachings which conflict with the bible.

Take the concept of eternal torment for example, the scriptures clearly state that the dead are not conscious of anything (ecclesiastes 9:5), and that when we die we simply cease to exist. but consider this:

God has a perfect standard of justice, eye for eye, tooth for tooth (leviticus 24:17-20), the punishment always fits the crime. Now, whatever evil a man may do in his lifetime, it is only FINITE, so why would the punishment for that crime be INFINITE, in other words, eternal torment? it does not fit in with god's standard of justice. In fact the bible states that the wages sin pays is DEATH (romans 6:23), not eternal torment in hell, and Adam was told that he would return to the dust (genesis 3:19), no mention of an afterlife.

That is just one example of how a diligent search for the truth cuts through the different opinions and false ideas that so many religions who profess to worship god have.

Let's begin on the god that used to be evolution . You recognise like crops and animals that lived and built. After decades speech used to be built and god used to be the phrase. Before that there used to be handiest barking without a option to inform the beyond or to inform a lie. ''In the commencing the phrase used to be god''. The minds of the ones long gone to the opposite part had been now competent to talk and recommendations had been built . So god grew to be flesh. This inspiration used to be situated to aid the brain of guy. The brain wanted help as we all know. Depression is aspect of the best way we're made . A savior used to be wanted for the brain of guy who sinned and failed. So now we move to your next step within the perception approach of guy. What will or not it's? Look to the following earth to broaden the identical manner. Someone has to head there and make persons similar to they got here right here. Belief is a need for any guy. A non-believer will think whatever .

It is good to ask questions, its shows that you wont believe just what someone tells you. Seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened. Everytime I had questions, I got an answer, and it just built my faith.

Yes Love your neighbor, and your enemy. I dont recall God saying he'll keep anyone alive for tourturing purposes, I believe all people deserve to live, I don't believe in easter egg hunts or decorating christmas trees, those were ways to draw pagans to christianity. God said do not do as the gentiles do.

It is our responsibility as children of God to question everything. We, as human beings, are entitled to personal revelation. When you have a question about something, you should pray about it, study it out for yourself, come to a decision, then pray again to see if it is the right decision. God will and does answer prayers. If you can't get an answer from a minister or pastor, then go to the library or the internet and search for the answers. Search for a church that strongly believes and teaches as closely to what you believe as possible. Then go to them and ask more pointed questions and investigate them until you are satisfied that they are either the right church for you or the wrong church for you. It may take a while, but when you find it, it is SO worth it.

forst off Halloween was started by pope Gregory. and placed at the same time of year as Samhien to try to cover up the old Celtic Holiday and make conversion to Christianity easier for the Pagan people of europe. so it is in fact a Christian holiday.

second, i think that questioning any authority is a good thing.
but then again my religion almost requires me to question all things.

I think your question is all backwards. What if the dogs were all being led to be tortured and and someone came and did their best to make a way of escape for them, and they ran away down the road to torture. Are you going to call the one who tried to rescue them "crazy'?

I find that 99.99% of people don't question anything -- their religion and other 'opinions' and 'beliefs' that were taught to them. It's SO important to question everything. When my extended family on my wife's side sometimes wonders why I question religion and other things, I remind them that if I didn't question things, that I would never have married my wife -- because she's black and I'm white. Had I not questioned the racist 'truths' that were fed to me when I was young, I would still think that blacks were inferior.

It is good to ask questions because it shows that one is truly searching. If there is ever something I do not understand, I go to my pastor or someone wiser in biblical knowledge than me to discover the answer.

Sorry, but way too many questions to answer here.

But your main question, is it wrong to question... no, it is not wrong to question your religion. Go ahead and ask, God can handle the hard questions!
