I wouldn't throw down your guns and give up on America JUST yet, if I were you...you just gave up on 95% of the country, which is kind of sad...not everyone is ready to go on the warpath about the immigration issue, and truth be known, Mexico would fold up like a cheap kite without us. The CHALLENGE is to get Mexico to really really really do this development thing, which means that all the 'hard workers' need to go home, and pick up a shovel, a tape measure, a saw, a hammer, and BUILD the place into something that'll a) take care of their people b) make a buck(legitimately), and c) be a place people will be happy to live in. That's what it's all about...it's Mexico's moment to stand up all right, and make MEXICO as nice a place as america...why can't Mexico be seen as 'the land of opportunity' that it truly is? I'll tell you why, because they sell their own people a bunch of crap, that's why. That's right, LIES.

Now hear this: If they really leaned into it, Mexico could become MORE of a global economic force. They've already got a start on it, look through all the stuff in your house for every instance of 'heche/hecho en Mexico'. That means 'made in Mexico'.
Last time I replaced a water pump on the car, the thing had a big sticker on it that said 'made in Mexico'. Industry and infrastructure are what needs to be happening in Mexico, not all this 'you stole our land from us' political crap.

Here's the gag: these poor(yes, they really are financially destitute) poor people are being USED. How? By unloading Mexico from under the burden of having to tend the needs OF their own poor. Their politicians talk em up, tell em to run forward into america, and take everything they can grab(sometimes literally), give em this big entitlement attitude, and when all the arguments turn out to be specious and even slanderous and libelious, they get all upset because they got fed a line of bull BY THEIR OWN 'LEADERS'.

Mexico's got a trillion-dollar annual GDP, thereabouts. They're far from broke. But: if they actually started FIXING their own problems, then they wouldn't have this whole political thing to use on us anymore, trying to send the whole country into a collective guilt trip. If anything, Mexico should be thanking us, and that on a daily, maybe even hourly basis, for the fact that the lights are on in their country at ALL. We've come a lot further than they have in the last 100 years, and we've sent em money, let the migrants work in our country for decades, but somehow, mysteriously, all that money 'vanished'...hmmm....sounds like systemic fraud and corruption to me...

The situation isn't impossible, and handling it well means getting people to really sit down, and consider ALL the facts. Don't fall for the race-baiting, and don't have a spontaneous psychotic episode over all the little head-games. Mexico CAN be fixed, but it's like the old joke with the psychiatrist and the lightbulb, the lightbulb has to WANT to change! LOL

At the end of the day, Mexico lost all the territories that some are trying to claim...really really, they did. It was called the US/Mexico war, it lasted from 1846 to 1848, and it was concluded with the US Army basically surrounding Mexico City.

Here's a good link for the history of the whole thing...for another good history link, read about Cesar Chavez, what he tried to do for the migrants, and HIS stance on illegal immigration...

I don't think man ever tried to find a formula to understand a woman. And even if he wants to he can never find a formula. I don't understand why unravel a woman's mysteries to know her better. Every woman is different from the other, and without them and their understanding of man, we would not have been here in this world. And do you think she has a formula to understand man. Ah, just tell me how this formula will make man attain moksha. Moksha from what.
