The best is intercaste marriage with permission of parents.
But, do not assume the elders will take care of everything. Be involved in every aspect of the wedding from catering to flower arrangements and liaise with your fiance/fiancee so that it does not offend either party's parents to major decisions like which party's style should the wedding be, etc.
Second best is eloping, but make sure at least one family supports your decision.
If you are strong enough to forget the whole affair and trust yourself to be able to live with a complete stranger whatever his/her quirks may be, then arranged it is for you. (As for me, can't imagine a life like that.)

Arrange marriage : if you donot love the any other person.
if you do love: and he is really worth of it, and you think noone can be better than him, given there was no caste difference, then go for love marriage.
its ur life not of ur parents.They wanna arrange marriage for themselves first...bcoz wht other would say..
If you love a person, and you have given a lot of time into that relationship, then it doesnot make a difference, wht marriage it was.

i would say a love marriage of any sort with ur parents blessing. it doesnt matter wether its intercaste or not, you owe it to ur parents to invite them to your wedding. im sure they wouldnt want to miss such a special day,when they see their child becoming a fully matured person. even if the oppose to the marriage,its up to u to invite them,and convince them that the person ur gonna marry is the best person for you. even if eyebrows are raised, they have to know that you are capable of being on ur own two feet and they'll be proud of tht fact.

if you are in love with someone, than it surely should be for a love marriage, but arranged marraiges are seem to be more succesful, and anyways, whatever parents chose for us, they aren't always wrong.

in arranged one you feel secure yourself. Therefore, do love after marriage and not love first and mismarriage.
