Most curse words, including the one you referenced, have nothing to do with religion. There is no biblical reference to that word and no reason why a Christian should be offended solely on religious grounds.

Yes. Words are just words. If these pampered-pets ever travelled, they'd realize that some of the most obscene and horrible words to be used in other cultures are just silly to us. Maybe that would teach them perspective. Education tends to do that to a person. Of course, that would counteract their big argument that only the ignorant cuss and cussing is for people who don't know big words. LOL

No. I think it all depends on what morals you were raised with. Some families simply don't cuss or were brought up to take offense to such words when used towards them or even in their presence.
I wouldn't consider someone weak just because they were brougth up old fashioned. :)

A mere cuss word is against the rules - it is a sign of weakness!

Not weak. Just brainwashed. People are so "scared" of words. Its ridiculous. I believe in a time and place for everything, however, get the stick out of thine butt. Why is as* a bad word but not stick? See...as* is a bad word because people say it is. Stick is not a bad word because people say its not. Brainwashed. lol

No, but they shudder at the mere mention of a blasphemy of Jesus' precious name. For it is the only name under Heaven under which man must be saved. Millions pray in his name and millions curse his name. Isn't that amazing?

They hold to a higher standard. I cuss like a sailor, so I am not biased.

It's not weakness, it's just decency and the ability to use descriptive words in an eruditious manner without having to resort to the four-letter variety. Education - it's a good thing!

I am often thrown off by the intense hatred behind the words, not the words themselves...
