They can be basically the same thing - it all depends on your heart rate at the time. Cardiovascular exersise is defined as when your heart rate is between 70 and 80% of your maximum. (which is worked out by subtracting your age from 200...) so aerobics could easily be cardio. The best way to tell what your heart rate is when exercising is to buy an active heart rate monitor - but they're very expensive.

Incidently, the "fat burning zone" is between 50 and 60% of your maximum heart rate.

Cardio is for the heart, aerobics is more respiration related.

Aerobics is a type of cardio.

Cardio workout just means exercising hard enough to work the heart muscles and deliver oxigen to muscles.
