Well, Joseph, I believe the answer depends upon your age and the degree of your respect for your girlfriend's parents. If you want to have a long-term relationship with her, it will be exceedingly difficult if you have a history of deceiving the parents by seeing her behind their backs. I know it's difficult, but, as friends, you could still see each other and do things together, perhaps with another person or couple, without it being deceitful; it doesn't mean you can't see her at all. It seems to me it would be a good idea for you to question her parents in a sincere way to learn the reason for their decision. If age is the reason, then take my suggestion and see each other WITH others. If there is another reason, perhaps you can come back on line and we can discuss it. You really haven't had much of a chance to get to know her OR her parents if you have dated only a day, have you? I wish you well, Linda

NOPE . . . legally, minor females are under their parents or guardians control and they can have you arrested, even charged with statutory rape. NEVER get involved with a female minor unless you have the family's consent. Even then, they can still get mad about something and have you charged. Even when they consent only go to public places where everyone can see you respect the girl. This whole issue is where the phrase 'jail bait' comes from.

Depends on your age! If you are both between, say, 16 and 18, or are both OVER 18, then I wouldn't worry much about what her parents say. Being best friends always develops into something, lol.

If her parents don't permit her to date, then it would be WRONG for you to try to do it behind their back.

No, you shouldn't still go out. Respect her parents. You'll be a much better person in the long run for learning this valuable lesson.

being best friends with a girl is practically the same thing as being a boyfriend, just that you probably won't be getting laid. but if you're at an age where your parents are against dating, then chances are you're too young for sex anyway. just be friends.

well dude if she says SHE's not ready then theres nothing you can do. if you really like her you should pursue her but if you have gfs for a day all the time then let her go. good luck

you can still go out, but you need to ask her what she wants, not what her parents want. She should also be within two years of your age if she and you are minors.

That's just a nice way to say I'm dumping you... unless your like 10 or something then that would be a legitimate excuse.
