Drink lots of water, perhaps even some of the flavored waters. Feeling slightly full helps.
Snack. Don't scarf everything in sight, but getting away from "three square meals" helps regulate blood sugar and drives away cravings.
Treat yourself to something at least weekly. Have a piece of cake. Just pick a day to reward yourself.

Try drinking lots of water, that will give you a feeling of being full that should help control your cravings. Also find substitute foods that are sweet yet also healthy. I like fruit smoothies, they are really good and low calorie. I diet high in fiber will keep you feeling fuller longer, causing you to have less junk food cravings. Also allow your self to have a little junk food about once a week, it will help keep you motivated to keep eating healthy the rest of the week. Hope I helped.

Treat yourself, but do it right! Subsitute chocolate frozen yogurt for chocolate ice cream. Got a food processor, mini-blender, etc? Make sorbet - 1 cup frozen fruit of your choice and add 1 - 3 tablespoons of water to achieve a consistency you eat with a spoon. (works really great with the magic bullet blender!) Its like dessert, but its good for you.
Sugar free/reduced sugar Jello or pudding.
If you like yogurt, there are a few yogurt varietys that are dessert flavored, and they're pretty good - cheese cake, apple pie, etc. They're sold in individual serving size, so I find it easy to have one and stop there, feeling satisfied.
Buy small quanties of the stuff that trips you up - I hit the bulk bins at the grocery store and buy small quantities - 5 Hershey's kisses, that sort of thing. Get home, and savor them. I don't feel deprived any more and don't have the craving, but I haven't fallen off track, either.
Good luck!

If your craving food the best thing to do is satisfy yourself or the craving will drive you nuts. Say for example, your craving ice cream just go ahead and have a MODERATE amount of ice cream and you'll feel much better.

I have a glass of water! It's good for you and it kind of fills you up! But sometimes if the craving for ice cream is really bad, i'll have a teaspoon of ice cream! It's not really cheating!
