7 years before the BK & all your debts are removed from your credit but that doesn't mean you can start building up the score. The key to good credit is accounts that have been open for a while (more then 12 months) w/ a high credit limit and low balance

Foreclosure and bankruptcy both remain on your credit for about the same time period. The eviction process start from the day you are given the notice expect a 6 week to 6 month time frame.

Bankruptcy stays on your credit report for 7 years.

If you are filing for bankruptcy keep a credit card free and clear and with no balance so that you can keep it after you file and won't have to re apply for one.

BK's stay on your report for 10 years, all other negative info is 7 years. To get rid of negative credit, you musr re establish with good credit

7 years on credit ---- but i was able to re-finance my house and even get a loan for new house a few years after
