are you referring to the incident where the evil spirit was tormenting him? Paul kept on praying and seeking God that God would deliver him from this demonic spirit, but God told him, "NO!!!!" God's reason and leason for this is that what makes us weak, will only make us stronger in the end. Paul did have the authority over the spirit in Jesus' name, but God is in charge and he told paul no. Paul became stronger in Christ because of this torture that the demonic spirit put in through. God final took that demonic spirit away and Paul was what every man should strive to be like.

Paul was NOT GAY. He did love women, but he did not want to get married or involved with a woman, because he saw it as only a hinderance in his personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He loved Jesus more than anything and wanted to give Jesus his 100% full and undivided attention. Having a job takes up a lot of your day, but a wife and kids on top of that, Paul could see no time spending it with Jesus Christ. He wanted Jesus more than anything.

That is a great question and one we can't answer. It really doesn't matter does it? Some want to make him a homosexual or something like that which is bull. If it really mattered then God would have reveled it to us in the bible. The point is Paul suffered and endured it, whatever it was. He is an example for all regardless of what we struggle with, sex, greed etc.

My opinion, based on all the stress he went through, was he probably had an ulcer. Something that was internal and hard to treat, in other words. Simple as that.

Some say he was gay. Some say it was a lust for young children. Some say it was alcohol or drugs of some sort.

We don't know, all we do know is that he was never able to overcome his desire for it.
