It's scanning right now. Will it get rid of the Trojan virus?

Should. But you can go to microsoft.com and run the virus tool and it will tell you if you have it on your computer and how to get rid of it.

I use avg also. i love it and run it every day to prevent problems

it should and you should also be running the avg anti virus after you run them in regular mode make sure you update them and run them again in safe mode

that depends on which trojan it is. some require special software to get rid of them. you should have said which one it was

if not initially go to the website and get the download for the particular one they have....and if you want to avoid viruses in the future stay off the porn gambling and free download sites...youll avoid alot of crap.
