Satan refused to worship flesh knowing he would have to in Jesus Christ. He was aware of the plan of salvation and was also upset that humans would become "better than angels" after their trials on earth.

Satan wants to become the Godhead. He wants his own Heaven, his own everything. He imitiates and is a copy-cat of God and how God has Heaven set up, God's Armies, everything that God has.
Satan still thinks he can overpower and overthrow God, but that will never happen. Read Revelations, Satan's ultimate destination is the Lake of Fire, as well for his demons.
The day that man was created is the day that Satan fell. WHY??? Because Satan did not want to serve man. He did not want to serve God's Perfect creation. Satan, demons, and the angels are not created in God's image. Mankind is!!!!!!!!!!! Satan accusations is that he was conceived in fire, while man was conceived in clay and that Satan existed long before man, therefore, man should worship the angels and God. God said NO!!
If Satan rejects us and we are created in God's image, he is rejecting the image of God. Satan's pride and love for himself was his only concern. Pride is one of the top major sins, and the Bible says that Rebellion is the same as withcraft. Jesus told the people that "Satan was a murderer from the very beginning."
To think that a creation can overthrow the Creator.........there is absolutely no way that can happen. God gives and God takes.
Satan HATES MANKIND AND GOD. God's way of treatment is just, righteous, perfect, and fair. satan is just after his own lusts, desires, and wants.
