Sorry to disagree with the first post.. that is not a stretching but rather one used to build up muscles.
You must be aware of the tightness being more one sided... the result of a buildup of the muscles on the other side to accommodate to another or primary condition. If not caused by an injury, this unequal muscle growth is a matter of workload. In order to correct the problem, one must work (stretch) the shorter or smaller muscle until it become equal to the other side.
If you sit on a chair, wrap your feet around the legs of the chair.... then reach around and grab the back of the chair with both hands and see how far you can pull yourself around.. go as far as you can..hold it a moment and then see if you can go a bit further.. doing this on both sides will reveal which one needs the most work. If you lean forward a bit while doing this rotation, you will find it works on the muscles higher up in the back. They will need some stretching also. That accommodation (to adapt) will involve the entire spine. Is the body's way of keeping your head above your feet.

Highway 62 in El Paso is great. It is not too long and there are lots of gas stations. That way you don't have to be in the car too long. Your back will appreciate it. Thats a good stretch of highway for your back.
