I often get the feeling that people - girls in particular (but probably guys, too) - get bummed out around the holidays when they are single. They want someone to share all of that mushy stuff with. Pumpkin picking on Halloween, Christmas cheer, and of course, Valentines Day. There's also the fact that the media is constantly flashing to ads of couples exchanging expensive gifts. Do you think the seasonal festivities can make it easier for a guy to pick up a girl? I mean...hell, I'm a single guy, and I sort of wish I had someone to have fun with this time of year. I want someone to see a scary movie with and to hang on to when the snow starts coming down! How about it? Girls...are you more open to dating a guy because of the season? It seems like if there was a prime time to fish for a date…it would be between the months of October and February. Am I right?

my best friend subconsciously is going through the same thing. All of a sudden she really wants a relationship. She tired of being single. She wishes she had someone to travel with. So I would say it's definitely easier to meet someone during the holidays. I also think it's harder to have a new relationship during the holidays.

I think it would be harder. People don't want to get into something new right around the holidays. Too much pressure involving expectations of gift giving.

it may be easier, but at the same time, when people go out around those time some of them think of them as short term relationships.......

course its the 14 year old with no experience with that type of thing talking so........

I think so cause of all the parties going on you should be able to find someone whom is suitable to date . Put yourself out there and mingle . You never know where it could lead. Good luck to you and god bless.
