I do not like to use the word "religion." For that is mans attempt in their best efforts to get right with God. Many different demoninations, or practices, that people follow that makes them feel like they can get in "good standing" with our creator. Thats why there are so many conflicts between these "religions" and people are fighting over it. Thats the result of tainting God's plan. We forget the reason Jesus came and died for us! He came so that we would have the true way back to the Father, and that He would establish the TRUE way of living. Thus, Christianity, which means Christ-like or little-Christ, is NOT a religion but merely the lifestyle of Christ that we are to replicate. Not by our own efforts, but made possible by the Holy Spirit in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Accept His Gift of salvation and experience the life of abundance. Dont make it hard on yourself when you know the answer! May the Lord Bless You Abundantly!!!

There is one that is very very close. Nobody has all the answers. I have seen and studied different ones for too long. There is one that I would believe to be most accurate. When a person goes to school and studies 4 years, and then goes on a 2 year research on other denominations, you get a pretty good grasp.

When a person can explain anything, and NOT contradict other scripture, I would say, you are pretty close.

Good Q*.

Very good question...

Every church has some truth..... when christ was here HE established his church. Apostles, deacons, etc.. He gave those men his Preisthood Power. Which is the power to act in his name for baptizing, blessings, healings, and church callings.

When He was killed and his 12 apolstes were all killed his church was gone from the earth. This is what is known as the "great apostacy".

There was no more of his authority here. Many good men, like Martin Luther (lutheran church) for example... strarted up churches and used much of the truth that they had known BUT they did not have the preisthood any longer. Many of the truths of the Lords Gospel were missing..

We were told in the scriptures that one day before the second coming the Lord would restore His church again. And he has....and he returned his Preisthood power to the earth again. It had to come to someone. It came to a man called Joseph Smith. The church that He claims to be his own with the FULLNESS of his gospel (which includes the preisthood) is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has all the answers and ordinances to get you back to your Father in Heaven.

I am satisfied that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has the necessary answers, but I think you can learn from all of the religions. Lately I'm investigating more of Judaism and Jewish music, because of Biblical prophecies coming up, just to see what might be possible. Eventually, I suspect all religions will have to go through an interesting change after the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. I'd like to keep the best of everyone's happiest family-oriented traditions.

The only church to follow is the one outlined in the New Testament. It is not Catholic, Pentecostal or Orthodox but the followers worship according to the teaching of the Apostles. The only authority is the Bible.

Everyone will say thier own, or none of them if they are not religious. What it comes down to is what each of us is looking for in a religion. If someone is searching for religion they should make note of the things that are most important to them for a religion to profess or believe and then search/study different religions. As many a buddhist has told me, all religions are good. Many also believe there are many paths that reach the same desired location, either way you will get there. I cannot say I believe that myself, but if you are a Christian I imagine whatever choice you make, if you practice your religion, and you are a good person in the world, you will be judged well and according to what you believed.

I have to say protistant. what I know of catholic it seems more tradition than faith and I do not know enough about orthadox. but even so prodistant churches can vary a lot in their teaching. the point is we must read the bible for ourselves and find a good preacher who can help us understand it.
