That if they had a great friend who was sweet, nice, pretty, with a tiny waist but she had 'junk in the trunk' and thick thighs - a guy wouldn't go out with her because of her weight?

They would. Trust me, I had someone criticize me while we were in bed b/c of extra padding on my hips. And, when I say "in bed" I don't mean sleeping. Thing is, I NEVER thought this guy would do that. But, the memory hurts horribly.

Guys wouldn't 'do that' as much as you women do. Turn the situation around.... if the guy was good-looking, great sense of humor, good job, stable, secure and mature - but had a little extra weight....he might as well be invisible to women. You all seem to think that you have to have GQ guys

I think that if a man was that bad he needs to rethink priorities. Not every lady is going to be hour glass. And yes, believe it or not personality does make the difference.
