there are lots of junk yards with online sites, and the local ones have the hotline, they can find one for you.
Ebay is always a good source of used parts, do a search, I know you can find one :)

Well yes they made a 230 and a 240 6cylinder back in the day, I have a 300 inline in my 1978 F250, Neither of these motors would fit in your Bronco II, You probably need a V-6 or such for your Bronco. The Inline 300 6 cylinder is one of the best motors Ford ever built in my opinion, Have had a few . . Good Luck with your Bronco!

The oil pan is different, what else will be different? That's the first thing that comes to mind when I read your attempt to get the "Free-Fairmont" on the road. Sometimes free will end up costing a whole lot! Check-out the entire "systems",Fuel/ignition/starting/and even the coolant hoses. If to many differences, then it would be wise to "Give it away" to someone else. Good luck!

If you're looking for an old type oil pan meaning no belly in the back part, just look for Falcon, Maverick, with 144,170,200 cid.
Note that the Fairmon has the dipstick at a different place than the older 200, so changing the style of the pan may not work.

The cars that use this type of pan are fairmont, mustang (79-86) thunderbird, crown victoria, and their mercury counterparts. If I remember correctly, some 79-82 mustangs and capris had an inline 6.

Go to a salvage yard and talk with one of the older part exchanger guys, he will tell you what year oil pan will work. I had a problem with a jeep transmission, this guy told me to find a 60 something ford fairlane, that it had the same gears, sure enough. So don't give up, there is a solution to your problem if you ask the right guys.
