Men don't always know how to tell a woman, diplomatically that they would prefer to see them thinner, but love also is accepting someone for who and what they are. If you are over weight and need to lose then do it for yourself. Because if he quits loving you over pounds gained then he probably never loved you at all, or is coming up with an excuse to leave making it look like your fault.

Tell him that "None of us are as thin as we once were,as you get older you put a few extra pounds on, it's un avoidable." If he's upsetting you, then your best bet would be to dump him. Hope you have better luck finding someone than I have.

Wellm, if you were thin and lovely once, what happened? Did you think you didn't have to take care of yourself anymore? It is poor self esteem and an excuse for people to say, "oh just love me/him/her for who I am?" What the hell does that mean? IF you don't love yourself enough to stay in shape I am supposed to love you to? Love me for who I am, a heroin user. Love me for who I am, a criminal. Love me for who I am, always unemployed. Geez, stop eating the junk food, get off the cell phone, spend more time at the gym and less time getting your nails done and eyebrows sculpted. Do you not love him enough to change?

If your partner is only attracted to you for the way you please hime physically, I would seriously reconsider the relationship you are in. The person that you CHOOSE to send your life with should love you no matter what, as I am sure you would for them. It's tough but please don't settle for second best. Good luck

I'd dump his a.s.s. and lose the weight and make him eat his words. He should love and respect you no matter how much you have gained. He obviously is not the one for you..L.good luck

Definitely dump him before he does it to you. He is not worth it if he can't love you for who you are! Not everything is about looks!

Tell him: "Look in the mirror before you start chunkin' stones at me", followed by a stern "STFU!"
