There is a seasoning called Dash that has low salt and low sugar content that taste great on Popcorn. Dash makes several different seasonings. But if you look in the spice section of the grocery store you should see most of them. The one I use has a butter and salt taste, but with out the calories or high sodium and sugar content.
Hope this helps.

Neither is healthier, but I would have to say salt. But there should be an alternative for both the salt and the sugar do some research and good luck on losing weight

I prefer sweet popcorn but don't like sugar, so I use honey instead. Gently heat a couple of teaspoons in the microwave and pour over hot popcorn. Delicious

I asked comparable the different day! curiously a million cup is 31 energy. Use a device, one that makes use of warm air to pop the corn and dont problem including something to it. Its lots greater much inexpensive popping your own too, a bag or kernals from Tesco cost 99p, it lasts a while and you get a extensive volume from the device i exploit, its one thats shaped like a duck and offered from Argos!! Mmmmmmmmm popcorn

I would say salt is healthier- you wouldn't put as much on as sugar- so the spoon for spoon answer is misleading.
The health risks associated with salt have not been conclusively proven, whereas sugar risks are well known

I would say a little salt is better. Sugar does have more calories, and also consider the effect on your teeth!

Put some seasonings on it. Garlic powder, Mrs. Dash, etc.
Love Mrs. Dash on popcorn.

None of the above is healthy or good for you... Why don't you use honey instead? It is healthier & good for you... I have tried using some honey when I make popcorn... & the result is superb & tasty... Try it & you will love it... ;-)
