What are you thinking?!!!!!!!LOL 1/2 the people that i know drive, and if that was the case, none would be, cuz they'd b freaked out!!!! I'd get it taken out of the steering wheel and definetly get an airbag in there! No way!!!!

Not a bad idea.
But it'll never happen,,,everything's always a COMPROMISE.
We'd probably get Stuck having to settle for an Icepick sticking out of Cell Phone earpieces to try to improve Traffic Safety.
Oh well,,something's better than nothing:)

No. People would impale themselves all the time! Eyes being put out....forgetting ther's a dagger there and trying to hit the horn....naw, air bag is better.

No, I'd just use a hacksaw and saw it off. Then, I'd get a airbag installed.
