His parents give him almost everything he asks for, He's got 3 skate boards, 2 different kinds of bikes, a quad, a dirt bike, roller blades and most of the xbox and gameboy games out. So he really wants nothing except a bigger ramp to bike and skate over. I really can't buy him anything, except his christmas present. but that is in 2 months. so, is $20 an acceptable gift?

$20.00 Is just fine. It`s the love and guidance that you give him year round that he will always remember. Not the gifts you got him at certain ages in his life.

Of course it's an acceptable amount!

Like everyone said, kids love to have their own money in their pocket...

BUT....

If yuo want to be the "REALLY COOL GRANDMA," why not get him a gift certificate that he can use online! How about a gift card from Amazon.com (books are always good) or Target? Im sure you are capable of finding a good site for him to shop off of.

Remember ordering something when you were a kid... the anticipation of it's arrival and the excelleration you felt when it finally arrived?!?!?

Good luck!

PS... if you can, try to throw in another 5 bucks to cover the shipping!

Your grandsone will remember this event long after the 20 bucks is gone!

Kill the grandson asking. via fact the universe revolves around the atheist and the atheist has no morality or skill to supply what's needed, then she could be completely justified in killing him for his medical care of her. comprehend that if the girl might have shot her boyfriend as being a black widow is a thoroughly organic reaction. Likewise, via fact the boy is out of her physique does no longer propose her skill to kill has lessened. in spite of everything, with atheism dirt = life = dirt considering all paths bring about a similar end, killing the boy inflicting the subject is merely one among a number of suited atheist recommendations. With actual atheism, that's impossible to make certain one greater effective than yet another via fact all recommendations are relatively the two meaningless considering no longer something a individual does can substitute the certainty that each thing they do will, like them, give up to exist. that's merely whilst there's a writer can a objective exist from which top and incorrect might nicely be desperate. that's merely whilst there's a heaven and hell or greater effective than one answer that extreme and incorrect can exist the place top is desperate by way of the writer made the advent to do and incorrect is the absence of top. 1Graftedin

You should give just what you can afford. Kids today have way too much "stuff". I give my grandkids money, because they change their minds every other week about their likes and dislikes.

I have a limit as to what I can afford to give everyone in my family. If they don't like it, that's too bad. So I say $20 is just fine!

$20 is perfectly acceptable gift for an 11 year olds birthday. If you can't afford it then just send him a nice card.Having loving grandparents should be gift enough.

My grandparents spent a lot of money on me for birthdays when I was growing up so $20 sounds really cheap - but if that's all you can afford, I guess you have to do what you have to do.

That is quite acceptable! Don't feel as if you need to over extend yourself. If he loves you for who you are and not what you can give him then it really won't matter.
