Yes tea consumed in excess does cause brown stains to appear on the teeth, and they can be an ugly sight. Other than tea, coffee and smoking also have the same effect.
They can be easily removed by having scaling and polishing done by a dentist.

yes... it will stain your teeth maybe not after the first cup but after a coupld of years with constant tea drinking yourteeth ownt be ver ywhit anymore

Yep.. I wouldnt necesarily say its worse than tobacco and coffee but its certainly not good for your teeth.

yes of course! afrench dentist tells you that you should prefer green tea, it colours less the teeth, you should look into your empty cup of tea ; it becomes brown even if you wash it well

yeah when smoke every day drink coffee all DA time then it start to change DA color on your teeth

yes, a little. when i went to the dentist they could tell that i drank green tea by the color that it stained my teeth. its not a drastic color change but be sure to brush your teeth after you drink it
