Mr clean magic eraser and if that does not work then anything that has oxygen in it as a cleaner will do, no bleach or ammonia cos that will burn the paint of the wall but oxygen based cleaners even laundry detergents are gentle on all materials, dont use anything with hard bristles...by far the thing that has workedon wall paper and painted walls for me is the mr clean magic eraser with some oxy clean

Magic Eraser all the way. I was at my mom's house visiting and she babysits my niece and two nephews. The youngest is 3 and he tends to write on the walls and the dressers. I noticed the markings and told my mom to use Magic Eraser. I brought some for her and she was amazed at how well it worked -- she's a neat freak!!! They're the best!
Good luck!

Magic eraser, or WD 40...I always used WD 40 before they came out with that magic eraser, so if you have some of that laying around before you go to the store to buy a Mr Clean Magic Eraser, you can try it.

The majority of the answers are saying Mr Clean. . . but if you can't get out to the store, here are some other ideas. Hairspray I know works on ink, but i have used toothpaste on crayon on walls before. Another magic cleaner is toilet bowl cleaner. I use it on tough rust stains. Please let us know what works for you!
Good Luck!

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Just try it somewhere inconspicuous first, because it can damage the finish of some kinds of paint.

Believe it or not... a hair dryer is all you need... you use the hair dryer on the crayon spot and after a lil while it melts it off and you can wipe it away. Good Luck
