Some people on her are just a*******. Don't pay attention to them. They wonder why people call them racist. Give me a break. I think it is horrible about someones parents being deported like that. We should stand up to our government and tell them it's not right. Oh but everyone on Yahoo answers thinks it's ok. Maybe we need to send them over there and then tell their parents they are being deported to an island. How would that feel. There are all different kinds of nationality's fighting in Iraq, not just white people.

I understand the difficulties of having a child that is a citizen while the parents are not. I understand wanting to better yourself and your life/families life. But that doesn't out way the fact that people....all people... need to be held accountable for their actions. If someone breaks the law, even if it was out of good intentions, they still broke the law. With these illegals, they are affecting everyone by coming here. Had they have not come here in the first place, they wouldn't have to worry about their child Volunteering for the military and perhaps being deported to their home country while their child is over seas. Instead, they chose to disregard the law. Though it may be sad and difficult, they chose for it to be this way. They need to go back to the countries they come from and try to come back legally.

Sounds like justice being done to the parents and the soldier...this is going to piss a lot of people off...the soldier obviously joined the military to receive government funding. His mind was certainly engrained with the dyslexic mexican logic of his illegal mexican parents that the best way to make a living is off the government payroll of the U.S. Armed Forces. What a slap in the face! He was decidedly confused as to where his heart belonged (mexico or U.S.) and probably was stupid enough to think that he was getting the best of the U.S. with his little charade. He died a hero on the battlefield and his parents must now begin to live in their own country. Justice served!

If they are illegals, then they are illegally in America. If the parents followed the rules, they would not be in this predicament. The soldier can come back to America after his tour is over and work to get his parents allowed back in.

Life is very difficult for the people who follow the rules, exceptions should not be made for the ones who do not.

Okie Boy is 100% correct.A voice of clarity in the wilderness of lies

Why don't you pro illegals learn your facts about the US
Military before you jump on his band wagon.See they made my point from another question

Would you have cared if it had been one of the hundreds of white, black and all the others that have died in this war?I don't think you would at all,and that is the difference.

Can foreign-born American citizens join the Military?
Yes. U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Aliens (people who have an INS I-151/I-551 "Green Card") may join the U.S. Military.

Eeveryone in the U.S. Military has a resident alien card (legal alien to you). We just don't take any foreign national in the military unless they are LEGAL!!

And if he was legal, why didn't he sponsor his parents application for legal immigrant status, now theres a bad son don't ya think? Making his poor parents be deported like that! But what parents would you be refering to or is this a hypothetical situation??????

And they had to have their papers, or they couldn't have joined the military there Einstein

Its unfortunate but its the law if they are here illegally send them back. I served in the US Army and not for the rights of illegals, but for the rights of legal US citizens.
The laws on immigration need to be updated. The part about if you are born here, you are a legal citizen, should be admended to say, if you are born, here to legal citizens, you are then a legal citizen.

I don't get the connection. You think because an illegal alien fights in Iraq, his family should be granted citizenship?

You've got it all wrong Mister !!
We want the Illegals to get Legal , just the way other people did when they came to the USA .
What's the matter with you people , keep telling us .....well all I wanted was a job and make money in the US .
Well you can .....go through all the paperwork just like I did and so many others and pay your taxes just like we do .
If you want to live and work here , you should do it the Legal way .
WE... don't want to work and pay taxes for people like you .
I call them parasites !!!
Living of other peoples hard work .
I think you made up this question !!!!
We can read between the lines you know !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
