would you stay and see or just move on now? I do want to be with him but I'm not sure that he's for real or just buying more time. No real commitment yet after 2 years.

i have been with my fiance` for 2 years and even though he did ask me to marry him when i was 4 months pregnant with our daughter i am still waiting for him to prove himself. so i gave him til the 20 th of november to get his **** straight and have a job or i am going to live with my family where i know our daughter will be taken care of. if you want committment your probably not going to get it if it has been 2 years already. hate to break it to ya but you will end up like me, constantly depressed. get out while you don't have children with him. its so much harder when there are children involved.

What's he supposed to prove? Do you want a marriage proposal, engagment ring or what? Setting timeframes is usually just a way of buying more time to figure out how to get around the issue. If you're unhappy now, stuff the timeframe and move on. See if he will change his timeframe and his attitude if you don't buy the timeframe and exit stage left now. If nothing happens, you have your answer.

MY experience says..If your shakey about it, Don't move your stuff. If you have been with this guy for 2 years and still don't know where its going...I'd stay put. From the 2 sentences you have here. I'd have to say hes not so sure of himself either...Don't know about moving on. But I damn sure wouldn't be moving in...

after two years, if he hasnt proved himself to you by now....It will be just a show. When all else fails follow your heart.

What would it hurt to give him this time he so desparately wants.
As long as he knows that if he doesnt deliver on his promise you are out of there.
