Who are you going to be mad at? Him for choosing or her for being chosen? No need to be mad, just find someone else.

hope he didn't lead you on, and/or your friend knew you were n to him and stepped in or was it a secret ambition on your end

It happens men should never come between you and your girls. I made that mistake once and am still trying to mend a 12 year friendship with my girls

Yeah, if she's been telling you that she like him.
If you value your freindship, you need to talk to her about this. Did you do anything to encourage him to like you? If you did, you are a very bad "best" freind.

yeah.. it happends to me alot!! but well sometimes it happends to her but we get over it b/c were friends and thats what we do forgive each other and love each other not get mad and fight over a guy!!
