I usually have the "no co-workers" rule, however, the one time I broke my own rule, I found the love of my life. I think a lot of it depends on the type of job, I mean, if you date someone there, is it a situation where you're gonna have to see that person all the time if things go bad between you? As long as you're comfortable with the fact that if it goes bad you'll still have to see that person on a regular basis, then I say yes, go for it.

Only if you like the smell of manure and hay.
Seriously, imagine a scenario where things don't work out and you part company with him. It's okay if you still remain friends but what if he is resentful. You have to see him every day at work. Since it is a small town, it may not be easy to obtain another job. Make sure that you understand that this possibility could become reality. How can you work with him if he is "bad mouthing" you. It's your choice but I'm sure that most people will say that it is not a good idea. Wishing you good luck though if you decide to go through with it.

It isn't right to have a relationship with a co-worker because it can effect your work. You may treat her different from everybody else. You can go out with her but as far as dating at work that isn't good. If you date a co-worker him/or her you to make sure that you all get your girl friend or boy friend relationship outside of work. I am 15 years old but I have went to many classes and learned about things like that. I hope you do the right thing and keep your relationship outside of work to keep you all from getting fired.

It is quite alright to date a coworker as long as it is not someone else's husband, fiance or boyfriend. Sometimes, it can turn out into a disaster if the relationship don't make it and you part on very bad terms and have to work together. Geeeee. Wouldn't want to face that.

I wouldn't say that it's either right or wrong. You just have to be prepared for the possibility that the relationship will not work out and you are stuck working with that person. If you really like them, then I would say go for it.

That is never an easy sitiuation. My best advice is this:
Be discreet..dont tell ANYONE your business. It also helps if you dont work in the same department at work because you may run into the problem of seeing too much of each other. Even if you love someone dearly, we all need our space.

Don't see why not unless your place of work has a clause which doesn't allow you to do so. If you are not sure ask your personnel people, in confidence, before you do anything and lose your job.

There's nothing wrong with it unless you keep it quiet, but I wouldn't date a co-worker myself. It would distract me from why I came to the office in the first place.

i would say no to dating co-workers...since you live in a small town, people will talk no matter how your relationship is going and you will ultimately break up...then there is the ackwardness after the break-up

move to a bigger city...it's fun!
