Stay home if you love your country.?
Any Mexican who hates Mexico enough to come to our country USA illegally should think twice. We are working on sending your people back home to the country they abadoned. I speak fluent Spanish but I just wanted to force my language off on Mexico the same way your citizens force Spanish off on us here. You will be getting about 12 million of your citizens back soon. I hope you put them in jail for running away instead of standing up to your corrupted govt like we are here.

To those who can't read I clearly stated that I speak fluent proper Spanish. I am sick of hearing Spanish spoken by school secretaries and customer service people. As long as our Bill of Rights is in English, it is our native language. Also, I am 1/2 Cherokee so I have the right to speak on behalf of US citizens because I am one! This country was built on legal immigration, not illegal.

I am appalled that people choose to move or come illegally to the US, and then even remotely feel they can complain. What other country allows this?

I think that's pretty hostile, but also direct, and to the point. For the past decade, Mexico's economic policy has been 'move to the United States/get it from the United States'. Seems everybody's on THAT bandwagon...who knew we were rich, just being able to pay rent, and all? LOL

Anyway, I'm for the border fence, and more people IN Mexico standing up and deciding that it's time to fix their country...instead of just keeping on with what's been going on for years...

HELLO, anyone who knows anything knows that most of the West belonged to Mexico before we stole it from them. Just like we took the rest of the land from the Native Americans. People in this country seem to have tunnel-vision. WE ARE ALL IMMIGRANTS. Let them have their chance. However, it should be done legally, I suppose.

Sure I agree, but I don't think the ones that are coming here have computers, as they all plead poverty. The people you were talking to are the ones who want them to come here. Now that I think about it, they were probably terrified that you were telling the truth. Illegal immigration to the US is likely the only thing that is keeping their country from imploding. No wonder they don't want a fence.

Don't mistake my comments for sympathy. This still should not be our problem.

i definetly agree, watch what you say, because if you hurt their feelings they do what they always do and whine and turn your answer in as an insult. if they can't take the truth, they shouldn't read the comments here. they don't like to admit their abandoning their country. i hope they are all jailed or put in a firing squad.

I agree if a country I lived in cartered only to the rich while millions of people leave who will in return send money back to Mexico. Mexico hasn't done anything for 80% of the people and only offers help if a Mexico national is trouble with the law here - Mexico sends all kinds of lawyers to protect their people here. Mexico is only interested in keeping the money flowing back to Mexico.

No, I don't agree. I think that you are stupid. 12 million people going home? Yeah right, you wish. Besides that, in Mexico they speak English in some parts. So why are you so concerned? Give me a break. The US has all different kinds of people here. Russians, Chinese, Mexican, European, so they can't speak their own langauge if they want? It really doesn't hurt you to have someone speaking another langauge in front of you. Accept that it bothers you cause you don't know if they are talking s*** about you. Oh well DEAL WITH IT!!!!

No, you idiot, I don't agree. Do you know anything about what the situation is like in Mexico? It is the desperatly poor farmers that are coming because there is no work for them in Mexico. With NAFTA, US goods are cheaper there than home-grown goods, so the farmers have no way to support themselves. Do you think they want to come here? We hate them and they know it. Most leave as soon as they've earned enough money. and the immigrant situation is only going to get worse as CAFTA does to Central America what NAFTA did to Mexico. Grow up you bigoted fool.

America; land of the free, and a land of immigrants. No one, except those of Native American descent, can say that they are anything but. I think that those wanting to come to America should follow our immigration laws, but I also think those laws should be reviewed and revised. If you have never personally known someone who has had to deal with trying to get their citizenship, then don't even say anything because you don't know how tedious and long the process is. Also, your statement was so ignorantly opinionated that I think your SN should be tied to a digital stake, flogged, and subsequently banned from Yahoo.

Put people in jail for running way and not standing up to a corrupt government? Wow, that sounds like something . . . a corrupt government would do.
