Shrimp in small quanities is usually not toxic to dogs, but if the dog has an allergy to it, or if the shrimp was improperly prepared, it may make him very sick. Vomiting, diarrhea, trouble breathing, fever and lethargy are some symptoms that let you know when a dog has been made ill by its food.
If you are unsure how your dog will react to certain foods, DON'T FEED IT those foods.

It is better not to feed your dog table food. First, you never know if it is a food their stomach can handle, and secondly, feeding your dog "people food" can encourage begging or other negative behaviors - like grabbing food from the table - that you don't want doggie to learn.

Well if your dog is allergic to shrimp, but ussually animals aren't allergic to any thing. If you didn't already know though you shouldn't give your dog chocolate. They can have white chocolate, but not ragular chocolate.

Maybe he's allergic to shell fish like some people. I'd call and ask my vet to be on the safe side. I would if it were my dog.
