Write to the Bureau of Vital Statistics in the Capitol of the state where you were born and they will send you your birth certificate for a small fee. (that is if you were born in USA. I have no idea where Greencastle is.) I wish you the best of luck.

if you were adopted those files could be closed to you.

Call the town clerk in the town you were born in or the IN state archives office.

Go to the hall of records and have them print you out a copy of your birth records, it should cost about 25.00
