i am wanting to get started on scholarships and i do not know any to go to an if you know any that would be awesome thanks

There are five great sources great for finding scholarships both online and offline.
First, try your high school guidance office if you are still a high school student. They offer a list to their students of local scholarships.
Second, Google.com and Yahoo.com offer a chance to search for scholarships based on race, religion, ethnic group, and college major.
Third, 35 states offer a website where you can apply for both college admission and state tuition assistance. If your state does not have a website, you can search the state government website for college grants.
Fourth, FAFSA.ed.gov will help you tap into both federal and college need based financial aid.
Finally, there are a lot of free membership scholarship websites. Many are updated on a regular basis. I recommend becoming a member to more than one because one scholarship might be listed on one website but not another.

First try Finacial Aid you can start while in HS fafsa.ed.gov . Try the college website that your going to they should have some good ones. And my fav is fastweb.com they have scholarships, college info, internships, and tips.
Good luck and remember if your doing an essay look through the sponsers website to see what their about and if you can read past winners to see what they're looking for.
