More specifically, is it harder to date than years ago when you were in your teens or 20's? What are the challenges? Because you have more life experience than you did years ago, are you more able to tell right away if you are going to enjoy the date or whether it will be a negative experience? As a middle aged man or woman, what are the things that might concern you the most as you prepare for a first date with someone?

With all due respect, Chic, as a 27 year old, your answer isn't relevant to the question.

It's a bit harder because I am more set in my ways, have independence and know what I want. I can't ever tell right away, unless I am just stupidly looking for eye candy. I need to converse with them & see what they are like on the inside..... But I know now a lot quicker by asking the right questions early-on if I or they will want to continue.....

Wow...I'm sorry. The dating scene is a little bit different than it was 20/30 yrs ago. Ppl aren't really out there to find a significant other anymore....it's just sex and hook ups. *shrug*

So ahhh...have fun being single...I know I do! :) Granted I'm 27 but still it's fun and finding a person I can live the rest of my days with isn't really a concern of mine. That's what you will find alot on the meat market know-a-days.

it truly sucks for us ladies if you don't look like a model they don't wan to date and if they do all they want is some time under the sheets cause you get told that you are surely old enough to realize just what they want without any questions
