There's this really good tattoo shop in Prince Frederick called Red Octopus. Might be a farther drive than you wanted but it's worth it. I got a tattoo there a couple of years ago and the woman that did my work did an excellent job. I still have people that comment on the tattoo. If you decide to go there I would suggest making an appointment because they get booked up pretty fast.

Unsterile tattooing equipment can transmit infections, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C and even HIV. The risk is so significant that the American Association of Blood Banks requires a one-year wait between getting a tattoo and donating blood.
You could also get granulomas, little nodules that can form around the tattoo, or keloid scar formation. Some people are prone to developing these keloid scars, which grow beyond the boundary of the tattoo. Granulomas and keloids are permanent unless you have them surgically removed.
Also, allergic reactions, although rare, can happen.
If you still want to get a tattoo... make sure they are using disposable equipment and the place is Clean!! visit their place of business, before making an appointment to have it done.

Celebrity Delly in Falls Church (more like Merrifield, but officially, Falls Church) is really yummy, and really cheap! It is in Loehman's Plaza on Route 50, about .5 mile after the 495 overpass. They have a big breakfast for about $8, which is amazing, considering the prices for breakfast at the chains. The main thing to know is that it's in a strip mall and you won't see it right away if coming east on 50. It's to the right of the McDonalds, in the same parking lot, and is diagonal from the 7-11. Yum!
