I am going as Gogu supersayn from dragonball z for halloween. His hair is spkied straight up and grouped into seperate spikes. I have heard of using elmers glue, egg whites, and unflavered gelitin. I would like to know what holds up the best without drooping to the sides, and for the longer period of time. This is the first time spiking my hair so i am clueless. My hair is about 4-5 inches on top and 2-3 on the sides. And i dont care if it is hard to wash out. PLease let me know.

THERE IS A GEL CALLED "KRYPTONITE" IT'S GREEN AND I'M SURE THAT IT'S A PAUL MITCHELL PRODUCT- IT WORKS WONDERS FOR THOSE TYPES OF STYLES, IF NOT TRY USING HAIR WAX- GO TO A SALLY'S BEAUTY SUPPLY OR A HARMON'S COSMETICS AND ASK A SALES PERSON TO HELP U OUT.

There is an incredible product called "Resin" by Sebastian's extreme line "Extah". It is a little more expensive than the elmers glue route, but it will make your hair stand straight up...just be careful not to poke anyones eye out, it makes your hair hard and sharp like glass.
If you are looking for a less expensive route, try KY Jelly. No, I am not kidding.

Happy Halloween.

My son has very curly hair. I used hair glue that I got from a salon in the mall and a straightening iron. You may not need the iron if your hair is naturally straight.
